Cicada has been appointed by the UKRC, the Government’s lead body on gender equality in Science Engineering and Technology (SET) industries, to help them promote the role of women in these sectors and to encourage women with SET qualifications to remain in the field.
Cicada supports the UKRC’s PR on a national scale, and Di Burton’s numerous contacts within the political and broadcasting world have put the UKRC in touch with many influential individuals able to champion their cause.
