The team at Cicada Communications is celebrating this week after successfully managing a raft of festive events.

The first in our array of winter shindigs was the official launch of the Grille Restaurant and Balmoral Hotel in Harrogate on Friday 23 November. Over 250 of the town’s great and good came along to our ‘Housewarming Party’,  viewing the hotel’s £1m refurbishment and sampling the seasonal cocktails and delicious canapés served up by the Grille team.

Our next event was held the following week at the Drivestyle Showroom on Harrogate’s Hornbeam Park. We threw a launch party for the showroom’s Lotus franchise, and the evening was a double celebration as it marked Drivesyle’s third year of trading. Car-crazy guests ogled the brand-new Lotus cars, sampled the Lotus-shaped birthday cake, and helped us raise £2,000 in an auction for the nominated charity Open Country.
 
Finally, we threw a glittering launch party for Lapicida on 6 December. Over 250 guests gathered to celebrate the opening of the largest stone tile showroom in Europe at St James’ Park in Knaresborough, with a fantastic sound and light show.

Guests were amazed at the new Lapicida showroom, with its impressive barrel vaulted ceiling and stunning natural stone features – the ultimate in design.

The event attracted a host of architects, designers and local business people as well as Joanne Beedles, the editor of leading-edge interior design magazine, Design et al. 

The team is delighted that all three events were a huge success, and we’re looking ahead to an even busier 2008!
