For Christmas 2007 everyone at Cicada decided that instead of sending out the usual festive greetings cards, we would be both a little bit more environmentally friendly and a lot more technology savvy, and send an e-card instead.

We also decided that what we would have spent on the traditional cards we would donate to a charity of our choice, with that charity being non other than our client Diabetes UK.

We presented the £100 cheque to Diabetes UK who were thrilled to receive the donation as Linda Wood, Diabetes UK regional manager for the Northern and Yorkshire region, said: “We are especially grateful to companies who think of us at Christmas. Hopefully this will encourage more companies to follow Cicada and donate money to a charity in this very easy way."
