Cicada’s founder and managing director, Di Burton, has been invited to speak at an inaugural international convention at the Harrogate International Centre.

Taking place between the 15-17 November, the International Enterprise Promotion Convention will showcase best practice and innovation in the support of small businesses around the world.

Di, who has worked with organisations including Grant Thornton, Government Office North East and 10 Downing Street, will discuss the importance of branding and reputation for small businesses.

Her talk, which is scheduled at 11am on Monday 16 November, will give delegates practical guidance on the topic of marketing communications, showing them the small changes they can make to gain customer loyalty and differentiate themselves in a crowded market.

The presentation adds to a growing list of national and international conferences that Di has spoken at. In the last year alone, Di has addressed senior NHS communicators at their national conference, the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists at its first annual congress and the Chief Fire Officers Organisation at its FirePro Conference in Birmingham.
