When marketing specialists Brett James and Graham Davidson joined forces to launch a digital agency, they called Cicada to help raise awareness of their new venture.

Harrogate-based Peppy Marketing spotted a gap in the market for a business that focuses on optimising the customer journey utilising the latest marketing technology.

The pair are already celebrating a five-figure contract with Brackenwood, a family business that installs replacement windows and doors in Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. This follows a contract win with one of the UK’s leading fine wine investment companies.

Cicada prepared a media relations campaign for Peppy that yielded coverage in key target publications including the Harrogate Advertiser, Bdaily and Prolific North.

Brett and Graham gave up careers with an established marketing agency to plough their efforts into creating a new type of agency. Both have several years’ experience of devising marketing strategies and design briefs, specialising in campaigns for multiple industries.

They are working in partnership with Leeds-based software provider Force24, which has already awarded Peppy Marketing the status of Platinum Partner.
